Undergraduate Commencement 2019

All ceremonies will take place at:

Lender Court at the People’s United Center
York Hill Campus
305 Sherman Avenue, Hamden, Connecticut

Due to limited seating, each graduating student will receive the number of tickets indicated below. There is additional seating available for non-ticketed guests to view the simulcast in the hockey arena, which is located just across the lobby of the People's United Center.

Graduates and all of their guests are invited to a reception at the Rocky Top Student Center immediately following each ceremony.

Friday, May 17

5 to 7 p.m. – Parents Reception, Rocky Top Student Center

Parents and their graduates are invited to come together with faculty, administration and classmates. Light food and beverages will be available. No tickets are required.

Saturday, May 18

9 a.m. – School of Health Sciences, School of Nursing (4 tickets per student)

2 p.m. – College of Arts and Sciences, School of Communications (4 tickets per student)

Sunday, May 19

9 a.m. - School of Business, School of Engineering (5 tickets per student)

Commencement seating chart

All ceremonies will take place at Lender Court at the People’s United Center on the York Hill Campus, located at 305 Sherman Avenue in Hamden, Connecticut. 

Guests with tickets will enter the basketball arena on the concourse level (row 14) by sections 101 and 116.
